Theory of Writing

Writing is like a video game, there are a lot of games that can be played, it is the same as writing as we can also choose what topic we wish to pick. Just like writing, we search for the games we want we want to play, and it also need to fit on our skill level. As we have decided on what we play, we play the game throughout the day and test it out for ourselves. We also meet other players that play the game that gives us criticism about our gameplay, just as writing we encounter peer reviews for us to improve. We also experiment on how we play the to figure out our play style and, as we take those criticism, we improve and we are close in perfecting our gameplay, just as we are writing we take the suggestion of the reviewers and make the paper better and perfect it.

Writing has difficult parts, for me the most difficult part about writing is what topic to choose as it needs to be a topic that you really want to learn about. The paper you’re writing will not make any sense when you yourself do not know your topic. You should always be comfortable or ready on what you are writing to make it a good paper. Your ethnic background has a huge impact on how you write your paper, it has its advantages and disadvantages. For me Culture has a lot to say on how we write. As the stance of our cultural belief is always within us when we are writing, for example we will always feel uncomfortable when our culture disagrees with what we write. Language could also be a huge impact as it is the way we interpret things through writing, we need to fully understand on what we are writing for it to make sense, it would be a huge disadvantage when writing something that is not your first language. Some would say that having an accent could be a huge disadvantage, since people could not understand it when they are not familiar with it. But I think it is good since it is quite unique and interesting because you will always pay more attention when they speak.

In conclusion, writing is about the writer and everyone has their own interpretation when they write, it is also in our everyday lives. We write either for ourselves or for our audience, if we are happy on what we are writing. Writing is always how we interpret things and the way we see it is always unique. Writing also defines the person who is writing the piece since it shows how we relate ourselves to what we write. The way we write is always bonded with the hobbies we like, just as I like playing games. Writing within an ethnic background will make us a better writer as this has been always with us when we were born.
